Leydy Pimentel emigrated from the Dominican Republic as a child and grew up in Manhattan, NY. She graduated from Monroe College with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. She listened and advocated for the most vulnerable when she started her career in 2016 as a community organizer and later on, as a housing Paralegal. She worked as part of tenant coalitions in NY, such as the Right to Counsel NYC Coalition. This organization led a campaign to make it a right for low-income tenants to have a lawyer when facing eviction. She moved to Waterbury CT in 2021.
At Tindall Law Firm, Leydy works as a paralegal, supporting the work of Attorney Tindall and the other paralegals of Tindall Law Firm, LLC. She has been with Tindall Law Firm since October 2023.
Leydy finds that her role at Tindall Law Firm, LLC is very rewarding. She remarked, “Being a paralegal gives me the opportunity to help others — many of them suffering through a difficult experience in their lives. It is very rewarding to help a person during a hard time in their life and see the benefit they receive from our legal services.
